Dustin since your two shows are done for the season you should watch a show that isn’t on TV. You need to watch Arrested Development from the first season to the last. Perhaps the most well written show ever. That goes for everyone on here. Watch it. I guarantee you will like it.

I never much liked Arrested Development. I know lots of critics said it was one of the most underated shows…to each their own I guess.
A show that could be good for inspiration possibly…The Universe, and on the same sort of topic,well not really, and it’s not a show, but, the movie What the bleep(quantum edition) blah I’m sure your busy enough writing and recording…but they seem like something you might enjoy???

Arrested Development is one of the best shows I’ve seen. I think it’s a show that you have to watch from the very beginning to end though, because you wouldn’t get a lot of the jokes without seeing previous episodes.

@All (Spoilers?) BSG ended a while ago, but the other two that just ended are Lost and Fringe. There are others but these are the ones where there is a plot line I actually care about. Intrigued with Fringe but not really satisfied with how they are handling the multiverse theory. But that is probably because I think that theory is silly. In many ways. Lost on the other hand, has been handling time travel in an interesting (and so far not yet annoying) way. We’ll see what happens. -DK

This season of 24 pissed me off a lot. I almost stopped watching at the White House takeover, then I actually stopped watching with the big revelation about Tony.

I actually thought Day 7 was one of the best seasons. It played like a great dialogue of selfishness in people and how everything Jack has done up to this point regarding his actions may not always be politically justified. Plus the music, the writing and the generic shooting of the scenes was leagues above the other seasons.

Okay, seriously:
Chuck, Supernatural, Smallville (trust me, get through the slightly corny parts and the gobs of good stuff are worth it), 24 (Redemption caught me, Season 7 reeled me in), and Scrubs are pretty much the best shows on television.
IMO.
Best shows = The Office (US version) and Entourage
Sean E: Yeah, I did like the conflict surrounding Jack’s past actions, but it became too hard for me to suspend my disbelief at certain parts. Even though it is a TV show and by all rights, I should be chucking my disbelief out the window.
Plus, when the Jack&Tony dream team got broken up, I was just too bitter to keep watching, haha.
I understand where you’re coming from but I guess I was pleased with how everything went. When Kim showed up again I actually was hoping she’d get killed off. Not because I don’t like the character – she certainly has her uses being there…;) – but I just thought she should be finalized in some way, as tragic as it may sound.
But then by the end, I was glad to see her still kicking and I can’t wait to see how Day 8 is gonna follow Day 7 up
Tony still bothers me, but I’m glad they didn’t off him. It gives him a chance to redeem himself when the time comes.

Fringe? Really? I tried to get into that show but the ridiculous lack of chemistry amongst the cast drove me insane. Also, every time I see Joshua Jackson I can’t help but think of The Mighty Ducks. Makes it hard to take him seriously
Btw, Dustin – any specific gripes with multiverse theory? I hope they exist, primarily so I can figure out a way to kill my other universe selves so as to attain superhuman power and strength

No, I don’t think it is. I emailed Missing Link Records, who are probably the best independent store and usually import limited vinyls but they said they weren’t getting any in. I bought mine off the Ebay International Store. $49.99US + $20US shipping. Pretty good considering the official Thrice merch store wanted $53US to import. That’s the best way to go I think.
