I’m starting to think that maybe it’s better to just post the lyrics to the two new ones you guys are hearing live, before a hundred wrong versions go up. With me mumbling and the sound coming from a camera phone I can’t blame anyone for getting them wrong though

Profound. I can honestly say, as cliche as it may sound, that these lyrics “spoke” to me. But I guess truth speaks to everyone.

Thrice never ceases to amaze me! You guys were hands down the best band at warped today. The new songs sound amazing live and I can’t wait for the release of Beggars. Thanks for putting on a kick ass show in the very hot weather we have.

You guys fucking rocked today in San Antonio at Warped Tour and I was DEFINITELY not waiting for bad religion and came to see mainly you guys. Great show and I liked your live version of both Deadbolts and The Artist in the Ambulance! Will definitely buy this album and thank you guys again for putting on such a great show today!
These lyrics are nice, but not half as epic as the Illusion of Safety/Artist in the Ambulance days.
Hopefully the new record won’t be collecting dust on my shelf like the Alchemy Index is.
I haven’t gotten to read everyone’s posts, so I don’t know if this was said already. I feel like the weight is kind of an add on to Dustin’s solo song pistol. A continuation in the lyrics and in time of where he is at now. Before it was about her being the girl of his dreams and laying down his life. Now he is reassuring that he’ll always be there, no matter what the case. Great stuff, can’t wait for this new cd and a fall tour. Any ideas who?

I just want to say that you guys are absolutely amazing. You’re the only guys I will dig through youtube in order to find your acoustic sessions and the only people that I consistently buy albums from every time they are released. You put such great effort and passion into your songs and everything is wonderful. I particularly love watching Dustin and Teppei play acoustic sessions (please do more, they’re great. especially like the OC registrar in 08). Good luck to you all, and please write music until you all have carpel tunnel and your wives are pissed. I will buy every album you release, sometimes more than once.

Your lyrics have always been incredible, and these are no exception. Out of all the bands/artists that I know and like, your lyrics are probably the most well written. Love the images used and the way it almost sounds like an really old classic/epic poem, yet modern at the same time. Brilliant.
