Due to circumstances out of our control, the show scheduled for December 4th at SOMA in San Diego has been cancelled. If you’ve already purchased a ticket, you will be refunded. We’re hoping to be back down in San Diego in early 2010 to make it up to you.

wow. i give up. does it change anything? having a more detailed explanation doesn’t change the fact that the show is still canceled, and you will still sleep tonight, eat tomorrow, and live at the rate of 60 minutes an hour.

wow i am not going to this blog for awhile. you thrice fans should be ashamed…. especially from thrices home state, Cali… just aweful. They have been so good to us, and they cant make a show and you all are asshole. They LOVE playing music. obviously they actually cant play.. screw you all, go listen to something befitting your maturity level. thrice is BEYOND you.

I live in Europe, and i wanted to see Thrice live since 2005!!! But I’m from Greece(where only bands with members that are older than 50 come), and i was looking forward to finish school(2009), so that I could go to another european country and attend a live show…
but they won’t come…

@ ALL HATERS: Thrice have given many hours, days, years of their lives to bring you and I incomprehensibly brilliant music. And you would rather talk down upon them than thank them for their contributions to your lives? I, too, would be disappointed if their show in my town were cancelled but to chastise the band for having their priorities in the correct order is to undermine the people that have created the songs you love most… so relax, crank up your favorite album, and be thankful for those tunes. Thrice will be back around to rock your sh** off.

I was going to take my fiance and brother to see Thrice for the first time and they were really excited!
Hopefully everything is all right with the band and the next San Diego show will be a great one! (and on a Fri or weekend)

yeah, i noticed they brought in Elitch. he’s a beast, but so was pridgen and it seemed like he had such great chemistry with the band. apparantly he and cedric had some sort of spat. wonder who dumped the gasoline on that one?
sorry for posting offtopic as well, but thrice fans should really step back and appreciate the…appreciation that they show their fans because Omar and Cedric from TMV don’t give a damn about the people who buy their albums and go to their shows. really.
