Under the influence of a pot of coffee and this record, I am a danger to myself and others.

Queens Of The Stone Age- “No One Knows” @ Area 4 Fest in Ludinghausen, Germany.
We played earlier in the day, and I got to watch Joey Castillo blow bubbles and be an absolute beast behind the kit from stage right; one of the better experiences of my life as a music fan.

The D-backs are awful, but this isn’t.
Kelly Johnson gets pranked by Adam LaRoche and his teammates.
“Adam LaRoche made sure the PA system played “It’s Raining Men” the first two times Kelly Johnson stepped to the plate. This will feature prominently in season ticket sales pitches, since it’s more fun than any actual baseball in Arizona.”

Sean Carey ( @scareymusic ) is Bon Iver’s touring drummer, a classically trained percussionist, a talented multi-instrumentalist, and (now) a terrific songwriter. If you haven’t heard his debut album, All We Grow, you need to change that immediately. I bought it last Tuesday and listened to it every night before bed during our last week on tour in Europe and the UK. Still not sick of it, I listened to it five or six times in a row on my nine hour flight from Heathrow to Dallas. ANd I’m listening to it again, as I type this. It’s absolutely beautiful; the kind of record you can listen to with headphones and totally get lost in, over and over and over again. (Coincidentally, the last time a record affected me in this manner was Bon Iver’s, For Emma…)
Listen to the track above and just buy the damn thing. It has my 100% guarantee.
